What upstream provides
DeepSeek Harness is a public-preview, open-source harness. Its Cordis plugin composition is configured through layered YAML overlays. Built-in profile templates are web, headless, sdk, sdk-minimal and acp; a built-in tui profile is not listed. Official native subagent packages include @deepseek-ai/dsh-subagent-codex and @deepseek-ai/dsh-subagent-claude-code. Other tools can also orchestrate agents.

The operator-verified local installation at source verification is DSH 0.1.7-rc2, with ds41f as an existing AIOS route. At source verification on 24 October 2026, the runtime lane was implementing DSH → subscription Codex Sol for normal work, Astra6/high for complex work, and Claude Opus5.5 as an advisor through owned tmux sessions. This describes the integration target, not proof that all paths are enabled or published.
A durable job should retain its identity, state transitions, chosen route and review receipt across a reconnect. Completion requires observed results. The live proof and release links below are the place to check published evidence; an unavailable proof source means unverified, not success.
Choose the adapter by direction
Native DSH subagent packages cover DSH calling the coding CLIs. The community dsh-crew project primarily connects Claude/Codex to DSH; it is not required for the native direction. Keep each job in its declared project scope and carry the quality handoff to the next owner.
Opt in, inspect, then run
The selected project host is the execution boundary. When your installed extension offers the DSH Harness engine, opt in there, inspect the setup and doctor results, and authorize that specific project before submitting work. The host controller provides doctor, authorize, submit, status, resume and stop commands; use its current help and the setup page for the exact installed interface. A browser login does not grant access to the operator shell.
After reconnecting, read status instead of submitting a duplicate job. Resume depends on the original authority and remaining limits; stop cancels work. A model finishing advances the job to quality_pending. Tests, source commit and any required publication receipts still decide whether the handoff is complete. Editor completion adapters must match the installed editor hook format; support in documentation alone is not a receipt of a live integration.
